Condition grading can be a little subjective, but after evaluating thousands of custom clubs, we’ve built a system that keeps it simple. About 80–90% of clubs fit neatly into one of these four grades. Occasionally, we’ll see a club that straddles two categories—say, a driver that looks flawless but has one noticeable scratch. When that happens, we grade it with transparency and fairness.

A Note About Shop Wear
Sometimes clubs are marked down because of minor "shop wear"—light rub marks, smudges, or tiny scratches from handling or storage. These are cosmetic only and do not affect performance.
Heads-Up on Grade A Grips
Clubs listed in Grade A may have brand-new grips installed—some could feature a “Demo” stamp on the cap. These are unused, premium grips installed during the original build process or in-house at Tour Quality Golf's Shop.
